Startup Cost: £0 Location: Remote/Home Difficulty: Easy Useful side income A few hours a week

Earning and time figures are our broad estimates, not guarantees — actual results depend on your area, your effort and demand.

Why it's left-field

E-commerce stores pay you to convert garment weight spreadsheets so overseas delivery costs calculate accurately.

How it works

  1. 1Create document standardization service listings on remote freelance marketplaces.
  2. 2Convert product weight and size columns in client spreadsheets between metric and imperial units.
  3. 3Format product spec tables uniformly and deliver updated store files.
