Startup Cost: £0 Location: Remote/Home Difficulty: Easy Useful side income A few hours a week

Earning and time figures are our broad estimates, not guarantees — actual results depend on your area, your effort and demand.

Why it's left-field

Self-published e-book authors pay you to click every chapter title in e-reader preview software to confirm links don't jump to wrong pages.

How it works

  1. 1Offer e-book navigation testing services on remote freelance job portals.
  2. 2Open client EPUB e-book files and click every table of contents entry to verify target headings.
  3. 3Correct broken chapter jump targets using e-book editing software.
