Startup Cost: £0 Location: Remote/Home Difficulty: Easy Useful side income A few hours a week

Earning and time figures are our broad estimates, not guarantees — actual results depend on your area, your effort and demand.

Why it's left-field

Audio publishers pay you to listen to daily news recordings to write down chapter timestamps for podcast apps.

How it works

  1. 1Post audio indexing service listings on remote freelance portals.
  2. 2Listen to recorded audio newsletter files and log timecodes for each news segment.
  3. 3Export structured chapter marker files for client podcast feeds.
